Student Exhibition Stipend Programme
Established by the Bui Huu Hung Foundation, the Student Exhibition Stipend Programme supports student-led exhibitions and emerging curatorial initiatives engaging with Southeast Asian art.

Overview
The Bui Huu Hung Foundation is pleased to launch a stipend programme supporting student-led exhibitions developed in collaboration with artists from Southeast Asia.
This initiative aims to encourage emerging curators and cultural practitioners at university and master’s level to engage critically and creatively with contemporary and modern artistic practices, while developing international dialogue and visibility for Southeast Asian artists.
Selected projects will receive a €300 stipend to support exhibition-related costs, primarily intended for artist support. A larger stipend may be allocated at the Foundation’s discretion for projects that demonstrate exceptional relevance to its mission.
Eligibility
- Open to students enrolled at university or master’s level around the world
- Exhibitions must be initiated and organised by students. They can be part of their graduation program
- Projects must involve one or more Southeast Asian artists
- Only physical exhibition formats are eligible
Objectives
- Support young curatorial and artistic initiatives
- Promote deeper engagement with Southeast Asian art practices
- Encourage cross-cultural exchange and independent exhibition-making
Applications
- Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
- Students are invited to submit a project proposal, proof of enrolment, and a budget outline.
